About the Role

We are seeking a Software Tester / QA Engineer with 1–3 years of experience to join our development team. The ideal candidate should have strong attention to detail, good analytical skills, and the ability to ensure software quality through structured testing processes.

Responsibilities

• Understand project requirements and functional specifications.
• Create and execute test cases, test scenarios, and test plans.
• Perform manual testing for web and mobile applications.
• Identify, report, and track software defects.
• Conduct regression, functional, usability, and compatibility testing.
• Coordinate with developers and project managers for issue resolution.
• Validate bug fixes and ensure application stability before release.
• Maintain proper QA documentation and testing reports.
• Participate in Agile/Scrum activities and QA discussions.

Required Skills

• 1–3 years of experience in software testing or quality assurance.
• Good understanding of SDLC and STLC processes.
• Experience with manual testing methodologies.
• Familiarity with bug tracking tools such as Jira or similar platforms.
• Basic understanding of API testing and databases.
• Knowledge of writing clear and structured bug reports.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.

Preferred Skills

• Exposure to automation testing tools is an added advantage.
• Knowledge of SQL queries and REST APIs.
• Familiarity with responsive web application testing.
• Experience working in Agile development environments.

Educational Qualification

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
