Job Description

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Accountant to join our team. The intern will assist the finance and accounting team with day-to-day accounting activities, maintaining financial records, preparing reports, and supporting various finance-related tasks.

This is a great opportunity for freshers to gain practical experience in accounting, finance, taxation, and financial documentation in a professional work environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with day-to-day accounting and bookkeeping activities.
  • Maintain and update financial records and accounting documents.
  • Assist in preparing invoices, vouchers, receipts, and payment records.
  • Support bank reconciliation and ledger reconciliation activities.
  • Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable.
  • Help prepare basic financial reports and statements.
  • Maintain proper documentation of financial transactions.
  • Assist with GST, TDS, and other basic tax-related activities.
  • Perform data entry and verify financial information for accuracy.
  • Support the senior accountant and finance team in daily activities.
  • Perform other accounting and administrative tasks as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Basic understanding of accounting principles.
  • Familiarity with MS Excel and Microsoft Office.
  • Knowledge of accounting software such as Zoho Books / Tally is an advantage.
  • Basic understanding of GST and TDS is preferred.
  • Good numerical and analytical skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Good communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently as well as in a team.
